About this Dog
Animal Profile: Buddy is an estimated 10-12 month old, 60 lb neutered male bully breed mix who was picked up as a stray and rescued from San Bernardino city shelter. At the shelter he was evaluated to be friendly with people and in playgroups with dogs of all sizes and genders. He has been in a temp foster home awaiting transport; they report Buddy is a total doll, good with dogs of all sizes including obnoxious little dogs, good in the crate, and even-tempered. We look forward to getting to know him in foster care. Foster Update Buddy is a wonderful dog. He’s incredibly sweet, affectionate and loves snuggling. He’s also super goofy and loves playing with toys and playing fetch; sometimes he plays fetch by himself by launching his toys with his mouth! After walks or playing, he’ll happily snooze for several hours. He is AMAZING with all dogs big and small, and is pretty submissive when playing. He is great at giving my older dog space when she is not in the mood to play. He’s crate trained though sometimes does bark when we are gone, but this is becoming less and less frequent. He can sometimes be timid around new people but warms up quickly (and this is also improving every day). His leash manners need a little improving when he is walked with another dog, but does well when one-on-one. He hasn’t been kid or cat tested. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Angels of Rawley in California, originally pulled from San Bernadino City Shelter and arriving to Seattle on Sunday 1/7/24. He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Buddy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Buddy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Buddy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Buddy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buddy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Buddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buddy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
