About this Dog
We have had our furbaby for 3 years now and within the last 8 months he has been aggressive towards people in and outside of our household resulting in him biting 3 of our children and a neighbor. He goes into “attack mode” when he feels like someone he doesn’t know is in his territory and for those in our household when he gets startled while he’s enjoying his bone and playing with his toys Rescues that we have applied to won’t accept him due to his behavior as he will be a liability to their volunteers and some have recommended that taking him in to get behavior euthanasia would be the best option in this situation. They were understanding and sincere although this is a really hard decision for me to make. He does not do well with cats or small children. Im desperate for any other option other than putting him down. A bit about our furbaby His name is Scrimmy (Scrim). Scrim was born on 4.2.2022 and we adopted him on 7.11.2022. He is a Shepherd/Husky mix and is an overall a good dog although he doesn’t do well with cats (we have 3) small children and has become very territorial where he has gotten aggressive a few times towards our kids and towards others in our neighborhood. He loves to play fetch but doesn’t give you the ball back so we have to play with two balls to alternate throwing them if we want a ball to throw. He enjoys walks, jogs, belly and ear rubs and gives hugs, loves his stuffed animals. He is kennel and potty trained. And he knows basic commands like sit, lay down, paw(shake), out, come, down, inside and bed. We keep him on a leash trolly when he is outside as he jumps the fence but still has access to the entire yard when he goes out to use the bathroom.

Adopt Scrimmy (Scrim) and Receive Scrimmy (Scrim)'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Scrimmy (Scrim)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$8 is Scrimmy (Scrim)'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Scrimmy (Scrim), thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Scrimmy (Scrim)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Scrimmy (Scrim) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Scrimmy (Scrim)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Scrimmy (Scrim)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Scrimmy (Scrim)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
