About this Cat
** To avoid Single Kitten Syndrome, she must be adopted into a home that has a social cat/kitten to be her playmate ** NAME: Key Biscayne (part of our Florida Keys group) LOCATION: She is currently living in a foster home. A meeting can be scheduled with an approved application. DOB: 7/31/2023 GENDER: Female BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic Short Hair LITTER BOX TRAINING: Good! OTHER CATS: Good! She would love to be adopted with one of her foster mates: Key Largo or Key West. DOGS: She would likely do well in a home with a cat-respectful dog. *Always take caution when introducing cats into a home with a dog. Motley Zoo is happy to provide our adopters with guidance and tips for safe introductions. CHILDREN: She would likely do well with cat-respectful children. ADOPTION DONATION: $150 HEALTH: Key Biscayne came to us with an eye issue that was not responsive to treatment, so her right eye was removed. She also had a previous tail injury and, to relieve her of discomfort, the end of her tail was removed. She is fully recovered, and the shorter tail doesn't slow her down one bit! She will be spayed, micro-chipped, flea treated, de-wormed, and current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. HISTORY: She came to us from a rescue in eastern Washington. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Key Biscayne is an adorable little kitten who loves to play and purr! She is snuggly and enjoys being held. She loves to play with her foster friends, Key Largo and Key West. She would love to be adopted into a home with one of them. ABOUT MOTLEY ZOO: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is a volunteer run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA. Motley Zoo does not have a traditional shelter location, but instead, utilizes private foster homes which care for the animals individually, in a home environment, until a "furever" home is found. Motley Zoo also runs "Rock Star Treatment" Dog Daycare & Training Studio in Redmond, WA which is a day-use facility and does not hold kennels of adoptable animals. The dogs there are owned animals who come to the facility while their families are at work and school so they can play and socialize in a safe environment. We dub this service our "Year-round" fundraising program which helps us support our rescue animals and the $15,000/ month vet bills we incur. This Studio location does have an Adoptable Cat Lounge, where cats may live until adoption, which is the exception to any aforementioned rules. Please email [email protected] and request an adoption application so we can get you started on the journey to finding a new, furry friend! Once you have been approved to adopt, then we can set up a meeting with the animal you have been matched with. For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. Thank you for considering adopting a cat in need! Meow, The Motley Zoo Crew

Adopt Key Biscayne and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Key Biscayne's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Key Biscayne's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Key Biscayne, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Key Biscayne's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Key Biscayne was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Key Biscayne’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Key Biscayne’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Key Biscayne’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
