**Tune in to our Facebook page (Great Pyrenees Rescue Society - GPRS) every Sunday at 3pm CT to see our dogs LIVE! You can also find previous episodes on our YouTube channel (@gprspyrs). If you would like a specific dog to be featured on our show, please email us at [email protected]**. Hi there! I’m Teddy — like the bear, but taller, furrier, and significantly better at soccer (the rules are unclear, but I’m definitely winning). I’m what you’d call a part-time athlete, full-time snuggle bug. I’ve mastered the art of chasing tennis balls like a pro—but returning them? Hmmm. Let’s just call that part “optional.” I adore playing with my resident dog buddy and would be happiest with a canine sidekick to bring out my playful side and keep the tail wags going strong. I love to be outside, and I’m totally unbothered by backyard squirrels living their chaotic little lives—I kinda just respect their hustle. I’ve got an adorable little prance that turns heads on walks, which—by the way—I love. I’m leash-savvy, adore meeting new people, and I get just a little extra wiggly when other dogs pass by on walks. I was born around February 2023, and let me tell you, I’m a clever pup. Give me a snuffle mat or a puzzle toy and I’ll solve it like a fluffy Sherlock Holmes on a treat-fueled mission. And though I love to play, I’m actually a pretty low-key guy overall. I take my naps seriously, enjoy my quiet time, and will always make room for you on the couch—after I’ve taken up 80% of it. Give me a good mental challenge, a solid daily walk, and a comfy spot for a snooze, and I’m in my happy place. I do have a few quirks (don’t we all)? I prefer to dine solo—just me, my bowl, and zero audience. I also occasionally indulge in a little counter reconnaissance, and I’m brushing up on the sharing-is-caring thing with the help of a very wise human trainer (who, by the way, says I’m making impressive progress, especially when treats are involved!). So if you’re ready for a big-hearted, super sweet, nap-taking, ball-chasing, not-so-much-returning, snack-motivated cuddlebug, your Teddy bear is waiting. ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. 100% of Teddy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Teddy.
Adopt Teddy and Receive Teddy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Teddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Teddy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Teddy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Teddy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
