About this Dog
Hi, my name is Sugar and I am a wonderful 7 year-old female Maltese, weighing in at approximately 8 lbs. I was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in Korea, where dogs like me endure unimaginable cruelty and hardship. Thankfully, compassionate rescuers saved me and gave me the chance to experience something I’d never known before, hope. I’m a gentle and affectionate companion who loves being around people, including kind children. I get along well with other dogs and would enjoy a family who can shower me with attention and affection. I’d do best in a home with a family who understands that rescued dogs need patience and time to adjust. We recommend working with our skilled pet rescue trainer. My adoption fee of $1,495 (tax-deductible and essential for supporting future rescues) c overs Spay/Neuter. DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations, Deworming and Heartworm testing, Microchipping, Boarding fees, health certificate, and airline transport from Korea to Seattle. For safety, all adopted dogs must have a GPS tracker or Apple AirTag. You can bring your own or purchase one from us. Your support allows Ginger’s Pet Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to continue its lifesaving work and provide critical medical care for animals in need. Email [email protected] to request an adoption application or to learn more about me. Donations to help with vet bills at Greenwood Vet are always appreciated—they make rescues like mine possible.

$0.0 is Sugar from Korea's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sugar from Korea, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sugar from Korea's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sugar from Korea was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sugar from Korea’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sugar from Korea’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sugar from Korea’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
