About this Dog
Animal Profile: Sundae is an estimated 3-year-old 39 lb spayed female hound mix joining us from Georgia via Project Freedom Ride. She was a stray intake and long stay at the shelter, and a staff favorite due to her social and friendly demeanor. She does fabulous in play groups, matching her energy level to the other dogs. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Sundae is a sweet girl who was returned due to her adopters unexpected family medical issues that created an unstable environment for her-- the frequent moving resulted in Sundae becoming very anxious, and we are working on helping her overcome that and settle. As a result of the instability, Sundae does take time to settle down and whines frequently. She will benefit from training around this issue. She does much better with a confident resident dog in her home. Otherwise, Sundae is a sweet and playful girl. She arrived to us a bit anxious but with a regular schedule has settled in. Sundae loves other dogs and does know how to read social cues but sometimes likes to push the boundaries with the resident dog. This energetic girl enjoys walks twice a day and is definitely up for more if you want to go further, longer, or more often. Sundae is a very smart pup and is motivated by treats which has made working on her loose leash walking very pleasant. She prefers to be by your side as opposed to in her crate but will settle down eventually. Despite being a hound, she is very affectionate and loves pets and cuddles. She voices her displeasure by whining but rarely barks. Sundae is going to be a great addition to any family. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/Bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was pulled from a high kill shelter in Georgia and transported via Project Freedom Ride to Seattle, arriving to foster care on 3/25/23. This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated.

Adopt Sundae and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sundae's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sundae's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sundae, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sundae's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sundae was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sundae’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Sundae’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sundae’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
