About this Dog
~~THIS DOES IS **NOT** IN THE CARE OF THE ALTERNATIVE HUMANE SOCIETY. PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE OWNER DIRECTLY AT [email protected] THANK YOU ~~REHOMING: in Whatcom county, WA-Frankie is a 5year old Blue Heeler. Frankie is a good boy with a sweet heart. He loves his humans and is a great watch dog. He loves outdoor time and playing fetch with a ball or a frisbee. He is the first to greet you when you get home and is sad to see you leave. He is potty trained and incredibly smart, but also a little stubborn. He knows many commands but tests his independence sometimes when off leash. Frankie is an only dog and would prefer to stay that way. He does well on leash but when he crosses other dogs' paths he tends to bark or try to show dominance. With consistent walks I believe this could be corrected. He loves going on adventures and walks. He has lived with cats his whole life and is gentle with them but as a cattle dog he tends to herd them. Frankie is roughly 50 lbs and has medium length black and white hair. He is not neutered. I do imagine he might take a short amount of time to acclimate to his new surroundings and people since he has been with us his whole life, but once he gets to know you he will show his affection. ,

Adopt Frankie and Receive Frankie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Frankie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Frankie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Frankie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Frankie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frankie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frankie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Frankie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frankie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
