Meet Junie B! Sweet Junie is a little Maltese girl who is just one year old. She is a tiny little thing. Junie did not come from great beginnings and came to us very unsocialized. She was fearful of people and many other things. She has spent the past few months in our foster care and she has really blossomed. We think Junie B is ready for her forever home, though she will still need some patience and continued training. Junie B is cute as a bug, happy as happy can be, curious about everything. Shy and inexperienced, Junie is well on her way to walking politely on leash, independently deciding to go outside to potty and confidently approaching a lap to cuddle up for scritches. A little bit of a project she is, with a lot of love in return. Junie B needs another small dog in the home to help her build confidence. We will not place her in a home as a single dog. The presence of other dogs brings out her cute personality so much more and she clearly thrives when she can be around another confident dog. Since she is still shy and working on her confidence, we would like to see Junie B in a home without children. The fast and unpredictable movements of kids will be a bit much for her at this point. Junie B is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $525

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Junie B was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Junie B’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Junie B’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Junie B’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
