Meet Butters! Sweet Butters arrived with us with two siblings who all grew up in someone's backyard - a story we hear all too often. She was shy upon arrival and a bit overwhelmed with the world outside her little backyard patch, but she has settled in beautifully. Her sweet eyes are just captivating. Butters is doing awesome in her foster home. She is a playful and fun girl. She loves being around other dogs and will be happiest in a home with another dog to pal around with. She’s been having some separation anxiety but it’s pretty mild and her foster is working on this with her. She’s the perfect puppy, who loves to curl up next to you after some playtime in the yard. She is learning some leash walking skills and is picking it up well. A more quiet residential neighborhood is better for her than a busy city street. Kids over 8 will suit her best as she can still be a little timid at times. Butters is vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Butters was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Butters’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Butters’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Butters’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
