Meet Choco! Choco is the sweetest little fella you will ever meet! So well behaved, so obedient and fully potty trained. He is only 6 lbs and about 4 years old. WE LOVE CHOCO! Choco likes other dogs his size and is also fine with cats. He likes people but is initially very shy and timid with them. Once he trusts you, his little feet will follow you around and he will sleep in your bed. He will do best in a home without small children, the unpredictable movements can scare him. A calm home is best for him. Choco gave us all a big scare by getting lost from his foster home the day after he arrived. This brave boy survived in the wild for 6 days before we finally caught him. He is skittish and flighty when people move too fast with him and don't give him time to trust. He is really the best boy and such a joy to have around. He will be neutered, vaccinated and is chipped. His adoption fee is $450

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Choco was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Choco’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Choco’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Choco’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
