About this Dog
Meet Gabby! This little cutie pie was seen wandering around on her own in a rural area for some time. She was finally trapped with a humane trap by our rescue partners in Yakima. Gabby is a timid but very sweet girl. She needs a little time to come out of her shell but she is darling and affectionate with those she trusts. Not a mean bone in her body! Gabby likes other dogs and will do best in a home with another dog - this type of social facilitation is important for shy dogs to help them build confidence. Gabby seems a little too shy to be comfortable with fast moving young children but older kids, over 10, will be fine. This shy soul just needs a little time and patience. From her foster mom: Gabby is a sweet little dog who's nervous, but so wants to be brave. She'll approach then retreat until she finally trusts you to let you pet her, which she loves and makes her squirm around like crazy! She loves meeting people (no touching) and gets along well with other dogs, especially if theyll play with her. As well as her sweet face she has a lovely silly puppy play character and her antics will make you laugh. She likes to move things around the house that are almost as big as her, like shoes and cushions, but she's very good about not chewing them up. She's pretty well behaved generally, loves food and treats and once she's settled into a permanent home and feels really secure, she will just get better and better. Gabby will be spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

Adopt Gabby and Receive Gabby's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gabby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Gabby's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Gabby, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gabby's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gabby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gabby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Gabby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gabby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
