About this Dog
Meet JD! JD isn’t just another rescue dog, she’s the kind of companion who picks you and never looks back. Found alone and clearly abandoned, JD has shown just how resilient and full of heart she is. Since arriving in foster care, she’s bonded closely with her foster family and their dog Ingrid, proving she’s not only loyal but also deeply affectionate once she feels safe. JD is smart, crate trained, potty trained, and thrives on structure. She’s recently been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she's healthy and ready for her forever home. Active lifestyle? She’s all in. JD is athletic, energetic, and would make a fantastic adventure buddy for someone who enjoys hiking, running, or exploring the outdoors. She’s quick to learn and eager to please, especially when there’s a routine and some positive reinforcement involved. She’d do well as the only dog or with a calm, well-mannered canine companion. Her main area for growth is reactivity, she can get overstimulated around other dogs and in chaotic environments like busy streets. That said, she’s already showing that, with the right support and consistency, she can work through it. JD will thrive with someone who can match her energy and provide the patience and stability she needs. Once she trusts you, she’s all in — loyal, loving, and ready to be your sidekick through it all. Jane will be vaccinated, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

Adopt JD and Receive JD's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JD's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is JD's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JD, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JD's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JD was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JD’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JD’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JD’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
