Teddy, a white standard poodle, is a very well mannered boy and does not need crated while you are gone as he doesn't tear things up and is housetrained for up to 12 hours, but he'd really prefer someone who will be home with him as he likes his people. His mom has to work too many hours and would like to find him a home where he has a yard and some company most days. He lives with a cat - he likes the cat but the cat doesn't like him, unknown how he would be with other dogs but he is good with children. He will need neutered and that will be included in his adoption donation of $350 as well as his rabies shot. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
