LUPA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Lupa and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (08/03) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in XXX (3351 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name: Lupa Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/Retriever mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of April 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 53 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Lupa is Looking For: Romps in parks and world exploration by her new humans' side! This pretty girl is eager to burn off all that young-dog energy and make pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best - ropes for tug? Squeaky plushies to chew on? Balls for fetch? Let's find out! And dog school, too, so she can show how super fast she learns. Most of all, though, she wants to know where her home is, to know she's safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises whacking tail wags and loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Does that sound like a fair trade to you? What My Foster Says About Me: Lupa is very cuddly and loves head rubs while she sleeps. She plays very well with other dogs, especially little ones, and loves chasing squirrels on walks. Lupa is very easygoing and I have had no issues with bathing or cutting her nails. She is reluctant to go into the crate but she settles pretty well once she's in. She will need some leash training but seems to be a fast learner. She's so smart and driven. It's like she needs a task or a job to do to satisfy her. Overall, Lupa will be a wonderful addition to her forever family! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog . Adopt Lupa and Receive Lupa's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lupa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lupa's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lupa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lupa's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lupa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lupa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lupa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lupa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
