Name: Raybans Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of July 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 50 lbs as of 6/15/25; he might have a bit more to grow. Gets Along With: Other dogs! Raybans has also lived with cats! We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! This handsome boy can't wait to take in rays of sunshine with his future family. He is ready to enjoy long walks in the park and cozy nights on the couch. But most of all, Raybans is looking for a family to call his own! He would love to play with other pups and work with you on his training to be the very best doggie citizen. What My Foster Says About Me: Raybans is the sweetest pup ever! He is a great mix of playful and couch potato. He really enjoys being around other dogs. He is so gentle when he takes treats and loves a good chew toy. He does a great job on walks, doesn't pull too much and likes to sniff around and explore. He bonds quickly and likes to snuggle on the couch and relax with the other pups or on my lap. He is playful but settles down nicely and adjusted to my routine quickly. He is also doing great with his crate training and is quiet in the crate when he is home alone. His forever family will be very lucky to have him! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, and spay/neuter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Raybans was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Raybans’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Raybans’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Raybans’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
