LARRY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!! Name: Larry Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/Lab Mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of February 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 43 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs, and he is currently living with a cat, which he just ignores! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special Adoption Considerations: Larry is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show him the ropes. Larry is Looking For: This chill dude is looking for a new place to hang out, with family who wants give him some nice walks and rockin' playtime, and are fully prepared to relax with him on the couch when the time comes! He's not too cool for school and would love to learn the ropes with you. Are you the one to vibe with him? What My South Carolina Foster Says About Me: From his foster in South Carolina: "he's an absolute goober! once he got into the groove he really embraced being spoiled and living the high life and hes just the sweetest thing ever. When he hears me waking up in the morning he gets right at the edge of my bed, he wags his tail a bunch just as happy as he can be. He does that every day without fail. Someone's going to get an incredibly good friend."DC foster update: Overall, Larry is doing great - quiet, non-destructive, sleeps through the night without crate, very good leash manners. He's good with my dog - they don't really play, just run around the yard together; Larry definitely likes to follow my dog. He likes to sleep with another dog and currently likes to cuddle with Lucky Dog puppy Hope! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. Adopt Larry and Receive Larry's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Larry's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Larry's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Larry, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Larry's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Larry was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Larry’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Larry’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Larry’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
