Name: Mini Mason Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 13 weeks as of 7/22/25 SEX: Male Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 5 lbs as of 7/21/25 Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training. Currently Living at: SC shelter! Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy. Mini Mason is Looking For: Hiya! The five of us - Mini Midas, Mini Mason, Mini Marty, Mini Macy, and Mini Mabel - want you to know that we may be Mini right now but one day we will be full grown! We're not shrimps! Let me tell you about myself. Right now I'm still a baby and all about play time and romps and snuggles and all that fun stuff! I definitely want to explore - the neighborhood, the local parks, the world! And make pup pals along the way! Puppy school would be great, too, so I can show you how super smart I am. But what I want most of all is to know where I belong, upon whom to bestow all the adoring gazes and love and loyalty in me. What do you say? Do I get to grow up with you? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once this pup has spent time in foster care! Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog. Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than October 21, 2025. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets. Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mini Mason was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mini Mason’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mini Mason’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mini Mason’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
