ANNIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Annie and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (7/13) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Rockville (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)! Name: Annie Best Guess for Breed: Great Pyrenees mix Best Guess for Age: 7 years old as of June 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 74lbs as of June 2025 Gets Along With: Annie does best with dogs who are not overly playful. Annie would prefer a home without young children. We have not seen Annie with cats but are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopter. Currently Living at: Foster home; needs a forever home in the DC area! Annie is Looking For: A forever home! She would love a family who can provide her with walks, snuggles, and a cushy dog bed and quality kibble. Above all, she is way out of the puppy yips and all about the good stuff in life - giving and getting love! What My Foster Says About Me: Annie is a one-of-a-kind gem who deserves to be spoiled. She's very calm, easygoing, and sweet. All she wants in life is to be continuously pet but she also loves napping, long walks or hikes, lounging in the yard, and following her people around. She is a well-behaved girl in the home. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Annie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Annie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Annie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Annie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
