Name: Combo Best Guess for Breed: Aussie/Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 9 months as of July 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 40 lbs as of 7/30/25; he is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids yet but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. Currently Living at: Shelter - Combo needs a foster or adopter to come up to the DC area! Combo is Looking For: This sweet, handsome boy is super eager to impress his new family! His eyes are sure to win you over so be careful when hes’s begging for treats. He can’t wait to learn some new tricks, go on long nature walks, and make lots of friends at the dog park. Most of all, Combo wants to feel safe and loved in his new home. A warm and fuzzy bed will go a long way, along with some toys, games, and treats to make him feel like the most special boy ever! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Combo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Combo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Combo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Combo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
