MYSTIC NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Mystic and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (08/03) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name: Mystic Best Guess for Breed: Lab and beagle mix Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of July 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 35 lbs as of 7/12/25; she is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area boarding facility Mystic is Looking For: All the good things that come with being a well-loved pup! This young girl is at the tail end of puppyhood and has so much to see and do! She is eager to have her own humans for sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures they can dream up. Making pup pals along the way, quality kibble, a cushy dog bed - all on her wish list as well. But right at the top? Being safe and loved, knowing where she belongs, and providing loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Mystic was such a good girl overnight. She was AMAZING in her crate, slept all night without any accidents or interruptions. She blossoms around other dogs, so I think she’d love living in a home with other dogs that she could play with and learn from. Loves chew toys! She’s doing a great job at being brave, but you can tell lots of things are new to her - stairs, elevators, doorways, cars, and kitties. She can be coaxed through these new and scary things with treats though, she’s SUPER food motivated! She is so curious and is in that awkward puppy stage where you can tell she’s just figuring everything out, her attempt at snuggling was perching on my leg She’s such a sweetheart and I know she’d make an amazing addition to any family! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mystic was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mystic’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mystic’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mystic’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
