I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me: Murphy is such a sweet little guy and is like a shadow, he's always following the humans around the house and hanging out wherever we are. He's finally gained some weight and his hair is fully grown back since getting him in May so he's also looking really good now. So far he just likes being nearby a human and hasn't shown much interest in toys, but he LOVES catnip and gets so happy when I sprinkle it in his box so he can roll around in it. My favorite thing he does is whenever he sees me, he does silent meows and it's the cutest thing ever. He's very quiet! He gets along well with my two dogs and two cats but doesn't show much interest in them in terms of playing yet. I've attached some updated pictures of him since getting him in May, he looks much happier and healthier! What the Shelter Says About Me: Hi, I’m Murphy. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Murphy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Murphy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Murphy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Murphy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
