We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Shelter...coming to the DC area soon! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Sailor Moon, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me: She does sleep on the bed with us at night, by our legs. She mostly keeps to herself during the day, watching the neighborhood out the front window or napping in the sun on her perch by the back window. She doesn’t seek attention often, but she’s always happy and affectionate when we go to her, and she comes to us when we call her. She also sort of hugs with her tail. She does a really cute thing where she lays at the top of the stairs and greets us with an adorable trill-meow. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sailor Moon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sailor Moon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sailor Moon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sailor Moon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
