About this Dog
LOUIZA - 1-5 years old, 40 pounds, nervous but will warm up to you in time Louiza is a sweet and timid little grey and white girl who arrived at VBACAC as a stray. Her petite body stature and small cherry eye draw you in. Her eyes are sad behind the bars, begging to be let out, but then nervous when you do let her out. I was still able to get her outside and in the yard she was definitely trying to figure out where she was. She still accepted treats and gave me some beautiful smiles to share. Other than that, Louiza didn't leave the front yard area and instead hung around by the gate starting to dig to try and get out of this new and strange environment. It's ok Louiza. We got you. We went back to the kennel where Louiza happily took another treat. That's what we know about Louiza so far. She seems like once she feels comfortable and trusts you, she will become playful and engaging. We don't know if she's house trained or good with other dogs but we will update when we learn more. Until then, please remember she'll need some time, attention and understanding as she settles in a new home with a new routine. Louiza is currently in a back kennel so if you come in to meet her and don't see her, please just ask.
