Ghost - 1-5 years old, 60 pounds, friendly, loyal, dog social Ghost is a super sweet and playful deaf dog who craves attention. He will follow you around all day and even sit on your feet and paw at you to get attention. While he likes to run around and have a good time, he also can chill out on the couch and binge watch Netflix with you. He is house trained, knows how to use a dog door, and is long past the chewing on everything stage. Ghost loves car rides and going on adventures with his people. He has good leash manners and likes to go for walks and hikes. Being deaf, Ghost knows signs for various commands and can easily be taught more. He knows sit, stay and no and can be trained to come with a vibration collar. He is very smart, treat motivated and eager to please, making training easy. A plus about a deaf dog is he isn’t afraid of loud noises such as thunder and fireworks because he can’t hear it! He doesn’t bark much either. But he does know when someone is at the door and will bark to let you know. While Ghost likes playing with other dogs, he does resource guard high value toys, bones and food. He will need an owner who can work on correcting that if there is another dog in the home. Ghost is currently in our large adoption kennel, so come on in to meet him. Bring any resident dog in for a meet and greet.
