CRUMPET - 1-5 years old, 40 pounds, energetic and affectionate I had been waiting patiently to meet one of our newest residents at VBACAC, Crumpet. When she was not reclaimed while on stray hold, I finally got to! Crumpet is super cute, super affectionate and super sweet. If you haven't already figured out the pattern here, let me tell you this brindle and white gal is amazing. She wants to meet everyone, has no qualms about it. If she sees you, she meets you! While trying to get photos to show just how cute she is with those floppy ears and her beautiful brown brindle and white fur, most were the typical 'land seal' photos where her ears look non-existent. LOL I was fortunate though in capturing some with her ears in full show. Crumpet ran and ran and ran around giving smiles which matched her energy....and that's a lot! When she did break from her zoomies, she would approach me and then default not to a sit but a roll-over-for-a-belly-rub! And, yes, I obliged. Crumpet is medium to petite in size, has a wonderful warm smile and full of energy. She might need some practice walking on the leash as her excitement surely gets the best of her when going outside. Crumpet seems very puppy-like and would probably benefit from some daily training, easy training, just a few minutes a day to create a strong bond between you and her and to also help guide her as she learns the boundaries to her new home. This is fun stuff! We do not yet know how she feels about other dogs so we will update when we learn more. She is currently in a back kennel so if you come in and don't see her, please just ask.
