About this Dog
HYPER, FRIENDLY & LOVES TO CUDDLE! DOSIER - 1-5 years old, 45 pounds, house trained, playful Dosier arrived at VBACAC after the apartment complex where he lived told his owner she couldn't have him. Poor baby! Dosier is a fun and goofy boy who wiggles all the way home! He runs and enjoys plush and squeaky toys. He is, however, afraid of foreign objects he isn't used to. We are told he will lie down or stand stiff or even rock side to side when he encounters such an item. Dosier loves going for walks and he's used to going twice a day, sounds about right for this active boy! We can't forget playtime though! He enjoys all the time he can get for this. Dosier will chase cats and we are told he does not do well with children. We tried him in our shelter playgroup and although bombarded with our friendly and playful pups when he first entered the yard, he settled in and appeared to be fine sniffing, walking around and even running with the others. Please note we constantly supervise our playgroup and specifically choose the dogs we use to test. Bring in any resident dog to meet him but please remember, supervision is vital. Dosier is currently in our medium dog adoption kennel. Come on in to meet him!

Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the 180041 Dosier’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, 180041 Dosier’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
