About this Dog
ENGLA - 3 years old, 60 pounds, nervous in shelter but warms up quickly outside. Engla arrived at VBACAC as a stray with a canine companion. They have both been very nervous inside the shelter but are starting to warm up to staff and volunteers. Engla has a microchip so someone was mindful about making sure their pup would be safe if ever lost but, alas, here we are looking for a new home. Engla has pure dark grey fur all over except for her muzzle up between her eyes, her chest, paws and tip of her tail! She smiles when she's outside. She smiles when she has the ability to run around and investigate. She smiles when you give her treats. Engla stopped, dropped and rolled on the grass, even allowing me to rub her belly. She didn't play much but that's to be expected many times with our newer residents who are not yet comfortable with the shelter environment. Although Engla arrived with another dog, we do not know if she is dog friendly so we will update when we learn more about her. Until then, she is hanging in a back kennel so if you come in and don't see her, please just ask!

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and 180019 Engla was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, 180019 Engla’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the 180019 Engla’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, 180019 Engla’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
