About this Dog
BRISTOL - 1-5 years old, 35 pounds, friendly Petite brindle beauty BRISTOL arrived at VBACAC as a stray. It's clear she has had puppies already even at her seemingly young age. It's time to let our pretty Bristol live free of having to breed puppies and instead live a happy and loving life with a new family. She came in as a nervous 'not trusting too many people' girl but is coming out of her shell quickly. Instead of cowering in the back of her kennel, she is now at the door jumping for attention. Bristol is still nervous though. When walking through the halls of the shelter, her head is on a swivel checking everything out as we pass by. Hesitant to meet people we came across she stood still, leaned her nose in to get a sniff and then backed away quickly. When a caretaker she knew approached, she ran up to her in excitement. Time will allow her to learn to trust you and it won't take that long. Bristol defaults to a sit if she knows treats are around. She def loves them! She had no problem climbing on the A-frame...for a treat as well. And she appears loyal to her humans as she, even having just met me, followed me around the yard. Bristol is just a cutie pie with her round head, petite frame, brown brindle fur and gorgeous smile. She is currently in our medium dog adoption kennel so come on in to meet her!
