About this Dog
BOLT - 3 years old, 60 pounds, house trained, good with kids, dog selective, no cats Bolt is a young, handsome, large mixed breed boy. His black thick fur is soft. He has pretty amber eyes and along with white on his chest, he has a touch of white on a couple of his paws. Arriving bc his owner was in the military and had no one else to care for him, Bolt is nervous behind the cage bars. He stares and backs away. Once outside, however, he is a fun and friendly boy. He came right up to me, sniffed and licked my hand. So silly! It took him a few minutes to get used to the other dogs in playgroup. He let them know when they were too much for him. *We vet our playgroup dogs so they all listened to him and backed away when he corrected them. After a short time, he was initiating chasing play with others. *We are recommending Bolt be an only pet. He has been known to get into trouble if left unattended so crate training is a good idea as he will steal food from counter tops and chew up paper. Bolt loves to play with toys including balls and tough toys. He will rip up stuffed ones. Bolt is currently in a back kennel so if you come in and don't see him, please just ask!
