Draco has returned to SSR 12-2024, due to his owner's terminal illness. Draco was born with physical disadvantages and subjected to unspeakable torture as a puppy before coming to SSR, having signs of chemical burns on his face and a deformity to his hind end. He has been known to have a protective and herding side that can emerge around men or older boys. Draco does prefer women, he's a quirky guy and men bring that out. Someone will absolutely love this side of him, he will grab pant legs to get attention. He likes younger children, but teenaged boys will likely bring out his quirks. He loves other dogs and would be happiest having a friend. He will be great around dog savvy cats, too. Draco is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, housebroken, and around eighty pounds. He walks really well on his leash walks and enjoys going on walks and chasing his chuckit ball around the house. He is also content to chew on his bones while laying on his comfy bed. Draco is ready to be a part of your family and will show you how truly special he is!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Draco 1450 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Draco 1450’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Draco 1450’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Draco 1450’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
