Dog's Name: Betty Estimated Breed: Boxer and American Eskimo Dog MIX Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 38 LBS Currently Living at: boarding Adoption Fee: $375 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Betty is an adorable, goofy, and snuggly girl who is hoping to find her forever home soon. She loves to go on long walks and loves to play fetch and other games. She is smart and a very quick learner. She also has a lot of energy, but when her people need her to be quiet, she knows how to relax on her bed and chill out. She loves when she is allowed to snuggle with her people in bed at night! Betty can be a bit anxious and nervous when her people leave the house, so she would do best in a home where her people are around most of the time. She can be reactive to other dogs and may need some leash work, but this can be managed with positive reinforcement -- generally giving treats when other dogs are nearby. Despite her reactivity, she does well with other dogs when introduced in a managed situation. She has been around older kids before and if you are looking for a best friend to be by your side, Betty is the girl for you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing (if puppy is old enough), monthly heartworm prevention while in our care, monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and our transport costs. As part of the adoption agreement, adopters agree to get the pup spayed/neutered and provide K-9 Lifesavers with proof of spay/neuter. K-9 Lifesavers does not cover the cost of spay/neuter for puppies 6 months or younger. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. Adopt Betty and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Betty's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Betty's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Betty, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Betty's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Betty was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Betty’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Betty’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Betty’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
