About this Dog
Meet Ellie! Ellie found herself in a high kill shelter in NC, through no fault of her own after sustaining serious injuries after being hit by a car. Even though she must have been in tremendous pain, sweet Ellie was still loving and playful with all she came into contact. The shelter put Ellie, along with another precious pup with medical issues - Bridgette, emaciated and had a non-functioning front leg, on the euthanasia list because they weren't perfect!! These girls had survived horror and they were still here, yet they found themselves fighting for their lives in the shelter - we could not let them down. Our rescue partnered with medical rescue group to save these girls from euthanasia and get them to hospital for their treatment and surgeries. Ellie has had an FHO surgery and will need physical therapy. All related medical expenses will be covered by the medical rescue partner. She is now in a wonderful medical foster home in Northern Virginia, where she is recovering very nicely and will be ready for her furever home soon. Ellie waltzed right into her foster home, met the 4 larger resident dogs and several other fosterscand wasted no time is becoming fast friends with them all. She is pure unadulterated 100% lovebug!! She lights up the room and lifts the spirits of everyone she meets. A very very special girl. Link to album, showing before and after surgery photos and videos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/dY1wQhJtciJJUUye9 Just check out their 'freedom' ride together the day we got them out of the shelter!! Even with their injuries, tails are wagging and ears flopping, they knew they were free and now in good hands! ********* Initial report from shelter: DOG HIT BY CAR This little girl is extra sweet!! A Good Samaritan reported a possible injured dog. An officer responded and found a very playful and friendly “Ellie.” She is still wagging her tail and is happy to accept pupperonis as a sympathy gift! Walks well on a leash. Takes treats very easily. Very well behaved. ******** Ellie just needs a warm, loving home, where she can continue to heal from her surgery and start to enjoy all life has to offer. A home with other dogs is preferred, so she has a playmate or two! If you are interested in loving this precious girl, please contact Aly immediately on 732 604 0625. CB

Adopt Ellie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ellie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ellie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ellie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ellie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ellie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ellie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
