About this Dog
It’s hard for us to create really terrific descriptions when we are still learning about the dog, but so far everything we know about Cookie is good. We were told she was crate trained, and house trained, and she lived with a toddler for a while, but it was a little much for her we think. She is current the vaccines now, but still needs to be spayed. Cookie is a big girl, who seems to be a little bit timid when she initially meets new people. We are hoping she will become more confident with all the new people she sees at the shelter. This big girl would love to have someone who understands her needs and is willing to spend time helping her with training. she appears to be fine with other dogs, but we would always recommend a meet and greet before taking her home where there are other dogs in the household. We don’t know about Cats, but she is very strong so a cat test would need to be well-orchestrated for everyone’s safety. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.

Adopt Cookie: At shelter and Receive Cookie: At shelter's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cookie: At shelter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cookie: At shelter's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cookie: At shelter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cookie: At shelter's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cookie: At shelter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cookie: At shelter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cookie: At shelter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cookie: At shelter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
