CALI-REN is in need of a home. she is a one-year-old calico, who was left behind when a family moved away and just left their cat. Sadly, this happens too often so we are really glad that in this case a neighbor took notice and shared the situation with a FOAC my volunteer. Cali-Ren has been spayed, microchipped, tested for FELVFIV, and is current with her rabies vaccine. She does well with other cats. She has been exposed to dogs. We think she lived on her own for a short time so she has a little bit of street knowledge perhaps! But we would love for her to be an indoor cat and spoiled rotten. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cali-Ren: not at the shelter (Kendra)'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cali-Ren: not at the shelter (Kendra) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cali-Ren: not at the shelter (Kendra)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cali-Ren: not at the shelter (Kendra)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cali-Ren: not at the shelter (Kendra)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
