About this Dog
Trout adores being a darling little lap dog! This little guy is 8 to 10 months old, rather than the three months we guessed to begin with. He was found by a county resident on a Sunday morning, as the was headed to church services. He popped his head out of the cornfield and trotted straight out into the road, so to avoid hitting him, the family picked him up and delivered him to the shelter. He had a couple rough days initially adjusting to his new diet, but treating him for parasites and a skin infection helped immediately, and he is now eating well, and his skin is looking better. He is currently living in a foster home with several other dogs in the pack, and has adapted well there. He appears to be house trained (or at least knows about it,) but because he has a doggie door to give him access, he may need an adjustment period in a new home.
