About this Dog
Please meet Rinaldo. An approximately 2 year old blue Neapolitan Mastiff. He found himself in a Houston Texas high kill shelter being brought in as a stray. A caring person in Arkansas saw his post which reminded her of a dog she owned and passed away. Having no idea he was a Neapolitan Mastiff had him shipped to her. When he arrived she realized she was not equipped to care for him. On June 29th, 2025 Rinaldo arrived at his foster home in Virginia. He is heart worm positive and his slow kill treatment has already started. His rear end is being treated for the flea infestation he suffered from. Underweight at just 118 pounds his foster will definitely be putting groceries on that solid Mastino frame. He knows sit and down but his leash manners surely need to be worked on which our foster is more than experienced to handle. We know he rides well in a vehicle and seems to be a happy boy. We will do updates on our Facebook page as they come in from his foster home. If you are interested in Rinaldo or any of the other Neos in need please go to our website and check them out. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask. MRI is just as excited as Rinaldo to find his forever home. Mastino-rescue-inc.org

Adopt Rinaldo and Receive Rinaldo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rinaldo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Rinaldo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Rinaldo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rinaldo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rinaldo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rinaldo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rinaldo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rinaldo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
