FFGW Adoption Policy is that all kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs. If not part of a bonded pair, you need to have a compatible cat 1 year old or younger already in the family. Tumbleweed is a bundle of orange sunshine with endless energy and a big, goofy heart. He’s the kind of kitten who plays hard, naps even harder (usually belly-up with paws in the air), and wants to be wherever you are—preferably snoozing in your hair. True to his orange cat reputation, Tumbleweed is playful, affectionate, and totally Velcro. He’s never met a stranger, and everyone is instantly his best friend. He’s also got a knack for fetch and a love for all things fun—from tunnels to toys to chasing his brother around the house. Tumbleweed is bonded to his brother, Cactus. Whether they’re playing tag, snuggling up for naps, or grooming each other, these two are always together. They’re looking for a home as a pair, where they can keep each other company and keep you entertained with their sweet, silly antics. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tumbleweed was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tumbleweed’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tumbleweed’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tumbleweed’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
