About this Cat
Tucker – 5-Year-Old Sweet & Affectionate Boy Looking for His Perfect Home
Meet Tucker, a handsome 5-year-old male cat with a loving, playful personality. He is a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his people once he gets to know them. Tucker can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, he blossoms into a loyal friend who comes when called and eagerly waits for his favorite Whimzees dental treats.
Tucker is a well-mannered indoor cat. He only scratches on his scratching posts—not furniture—and absolutely loves being brushed. He has grown up with a dog and truly enjoys having a furry companion, so I believe he would thrive in a home with another friendly pet. He would also do well with someone who is home much of the day and can give him the companionship he craves.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but due to changes in our household with my senior dog and my work schedule, Tucker is spending too much time alone. He deserves a home where he can receive the love, attention, and companionship that make him happiest.
My greatest hope is to find Tucker a forever home where he will be cherished as part of the family. If you think you could be the right match for this wonderful boy, I'd love to tell you more about him.

Adopt Tucker and Receive Tucker's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tucker's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Tucker receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tucker, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Tucker's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tucker was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tucker’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Tucker’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tucker’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
