CVRR is listing this dog as a COURTESY to the actual owner. This dog is not currently in the care of CVRR, and CVRR makes no representations or guarantees for the animal's behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed has been given by the dog's current owner and should be verified by any interested potential adopter. This stunning 3-year-old Siberian Husky is everything you’d expect from the breed—majestic, playful, and full of personality! He'll keep you entertained with his tricks, and he does great on a leash. He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and crate trained, making him an easy transition for a loving new home. Personality and Behavior: - Loves people: super friendly with strangers both at home and in public - Great with kids: playful, gentle, and always ready for fun - Gets along great with other dogs, especially those who enjoy playing - Hasn't been around cats or farm animals, but his instinct to chase small animals suggests they might not be the best match - Hardly ever barks (except that one time...with a turtle!), though he'll ask for things with a howl - Super intelligent and knows lots of tricks Feeding and Routine: - Eats twice a day - A little picky with dry food, but give him wet food and he's all in! Notes: Atlas prefers to eat without competition; he's not a fan of sharing his meals with the other dog in the home. No aggression otherwise, just a little food-protective. Ideal Home: This beautiful boy would thrive with an active individual or family who enjoys outdoor adventures, walks, and playtime. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal to let him safely explore and get out some of that classic Husky energy. He’d do well as a solo dog or with other friendly, respectful dogs, and would love having kids to romp around with. Bonus Husky Traits: - Likely to be the best conversation partner with his adorable howls - A loyal companion with a playful spirit and a heart of gold - Stunning good looks (seriously, you'll get stopped on every walk) If you're looking for a social, loving, goofy, and energetic sidekick, this Husky might just be your perfect match. Fill out an application to meet him and see for yourself why everyone he meets falls in love!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Atlas (Courtesy Post) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Atlas (Courtesy Post)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Atlas (Courtesy Post)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Atlas (Courtesy Post)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
