About this Cat
Tank is a a sweet, gentle girl who has had a long, happy life and would love to find a new favorite human to spend her final years with. At seventeen years old, she is no longer able to jump into your lap on her own, but she will happily curl up in it if you help her get there. She loves Netflix nights! She is very docile and loves being held; with no do-not-touch zones, she loves to be petted and brushed anywhere. She'll happily lie on her back while her rear claws are trimmed (she's been front declawed, so there are only two feet to trim). She can be shy at first but has become bolder with age (she does spook easily at loud noises). She's lived with a dog and with another cat but generally keeps to herself or her humans; she's also lived with kids and does great with them if they're not rough with her. Though in her golden years, Tank's only known health condition is hyperthyroidism, which requires regular monitoring and prescription food; she has been on medication in the past and may require it again if her thyroid levels change. She has a follow-up appointment in September with our partner vet but can be adopted before then if her new family is willing to take her to the appointment (we will cover the cost). Tank's adoption fee is $75.

Adopt *Tank and Receive *Tank's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *Tank's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is *Tank's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the *Tank, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *Tank's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *Tank was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *Tank’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *Tank’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *Tank’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
