About this Dog
Calvin is a curious, happy puppy! He is such a good boy and loves people. He loves walks and literally stops to smell the flowers on neighborhood strolls. He is also up for pets from all passers-by! He arrived at his foster's house a bit timid at first but quickly warmed up - he likes home life much better than shelter life! He likes to bask in the sun with the resident tortoise, and he is slowly getting introduced to his foster family's cat. (He is not aggressive at all but still learning the cat's "back off" signals.) He has enjoyed romps in the backyard with neighbor kids (ages 10-12); he might have a little too much puppy energy and size to live with smaller children although he is very curious and gentle when he encounters kids on walks. Calvin needs some training but is not possessive with food or toys and is eager to please.
