About this Dog
Tiny little Cody, weighing just 8 pounds, came into rescue when his owner moved. He's not just cute, but he's sweet and enjoys human companionship. Environment: Cody is looking for a home without a lot of people coming and going, and he's not a fan of children. He's especially wary of strangers and would benefit from continued training to boost his confidence in this area. Cody would do well in most home types and he does not need a fenced in yard. He can be a barker, and although his bark isn't too loud, shared walls may not be the best placement. Cody is good on leash and is house trained. If you've got food, he will definitely be close by! Pets & People: Cody will bark and growl at strangers who come near him with the intent to pat or make connection. In the safety of his home space, he seeks out comfort from his humans. An ideal home for Cody would be with adults only, no children -- a calm environment where he can learn to feel safe. Cody cannot live in a home with a cat. He is good with most other small dogs. Location: Cody is currently being fostered in Herndon, Virginia. He can travel a reasonable distance to his forever home. Please email [email protected] for any questions, or complete an adoption application at the button above. The adoption fee for Cody is $325.

Adopt Cody5 and Receive Cody5's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cody5's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cody5's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cody5, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cody5's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cody5 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cody5’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cody5’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cody5’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
