About this Cat
Cletus is a wonderful kitty! He has some food allergies that are being addressed with an allergen-free diet and is very much enjoying his new wet and dry food options. He has picked up a great appetite and his skin, ears, eyes, and fur have all improved and are more vibrant with each passing day! Cletus has never met a stranger and doesn't mind being handled. He will even let you hold him like a baby and pet his belly while he kneads the air. He is so sweet and friendly and would do well as an only cat or with others with a proper introduction - we have had a lot of luck with resident cats and fosters, and he might be the sweetest yet! He will softly knead you or the floor as you pet his little head and give him chin scratches and enjoys looking out our windows and snoozing on a soft blanket or chair. Cletus has great litter box manners and is very smart! He has figured out every food puzzle we have given him and is extremely food motivated (don't worry, he will be sure to remind you when it is time for a meal). For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cletus was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cletus’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cletus’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cletus’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
