Meet Buddy! Not to be confused with Buddy the Elf, Buddy the Cat is a calm gentleman, who loves treats, relaxing, and a good bowl of wet food. Buddy is a kind senior boy, looking for his fur-ever home after he started having issues at home when his family adopted another cat. Buddy prefers to be the only cat at home and the king of the castle - although he started off shy and reserved at his foster home, he slowly has shown his adorable and lowkey personality. He doesn't need much attention and isn't huge on toys or play, but will socialize with his humans and their guests at his leisure (he was an excellent Christmas guest!). He also loves being brushed and will lovingly purr while you let him brush his face by himself. Buddy's foster family has enjoyed seeing this sad boy come out of his shell and begin purring, being a bit more vocal, and joining them while watching TV to cuddle up and make biscuits. Buddy is ready to find a family to relax with him, so if you're looking for a low-maintenance, cute cat, Buddy is just right for you!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buddy DIABETIC was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buddy DIABETIC’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buddy DIABETIC’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buddy DIABETIC’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
