About this Cat
My name is Martok and I'm named after a mighty Klingon warrior! Like a Klingon from Star Trek, I can be a little spicy at first. Due to my eye issue, I have limited vision so I get very scared in new spaces and may seem mean, but, again like a Klingon, I'm loving underneath. Once I adjust to a new place and new people, I'm very loving and will even snuggle when I'm not running around hunting my toys. When I was really little, my third eyelid became infected and completely covered so I've had surgery to help it. It looks a little wonky right now, but the vet says it is healing nicely and I do have some vision in it. I come from South Carolina where I lived with some dogs. I kept trying to play with them, but they didn't want to entertain me. I'm much better now that I'm with my foster cat siblings, but I can still live with dogs that understand cats. Being with a small child is not ideal as, because of my eye, I sometimes get spooked if I don't see something coming. My ideal house would have a playmate for me, a cat tower I could climb, a window to look out of, and a human (or two or three) that would be patient with me as I adjusted to the new space.

Adopt Martok and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Martok's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Martok's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Martok, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Martok's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Martok was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Martok’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Martok’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Martok’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
