My name is Mr. Ernest Bellyrub. I am seeking a position in a family and feel I would be a huge asset if hired. I am searching for a family that will fully appreciate my many strengths and is in alignment with the things I find import in life. These include walks, especially if those came in the form of a hike in the woods and a splash in a stream, a soft place to lay my big head, and of course all the belly rubs. I am an active strong boy but mature enough to come back to our place of employment and quietly finish chewing on my assigned bone. In return, I will give you my undying devotion and will be the goodest boy in the whole world! I do best as part of a team that makes their expectations clear and follows a schedule I can depend on but is willing to work on new skills and continued education. I have experience living in a home and am crate trained and house broken. I am exceptionally qualified in the area of snuggling and people pleasing, I can even successfully ham it up at the vet's office and make everyone go 'awww!' For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ernest was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ernest’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ernest’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ernest’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
