Our boy, Braxton, has been bunking with us at the pound for over a year. Sadly, his life before us was a challenge. He has taken his time here and made the most of it, learning what is needed to be a happy companion. He is now ready to find his most special home, all his very own. Could that be you? Braxton was chained for the first year or so of his life. Since coming to the pound, he has become one of the favorites of the volunteers. He is such a sweet dog, loving and affectionate to people. While he is strong, he wants to please so would need a human who would be willing to take the time to really give him the home that he so deserves. He went on a sleepover with one of the volunteers, and did very well with the other dog there. They would visit and play through the fence and had a great time. So we believe he is dog selective. However, we believe he would thrive as an only dog, bonding with his human and new best friend. He also enjoys hanging out and playing in a fenced in yard. While he is accepting of life in a crowded, noisy pound, he can't stay here forever. Please consider giving this boy a real life where he can have all the comforts that he has always deserved.
