This sweet little lady was a very pregnant stray - she delivered her kittens three days after she came to CARE! She got her name Henrietta, aka Hen, because she was such a good little mother hen to her babies. Now that her kittens are weaned, Hen is ready to start her own life with her forever family. The first thing you'll notice about Henrietta are her stunning green eyes, followed by her talkative nature. This little chatterbox isn't afraid to use her voice to let you know about the cool bird she just saw, tell you how much she missed you while you were gone, or lead you to her favorite seat so you can curl up together.Henrietta absolutley loves to be petted and is not shy about letting you know her favorite spots. Like most cats, she loves a good brushing and chin scritch; unlike most cats her favorite spot is...her belly! When she flops over she doesn't bite or scratch your hand; instead, she hugs it to assure you it's not a trap. When she's done with her belly rub, she'll curl up like a roly poly bug and use her hind legs to bunny kick your hand up to her head which means it's time for head and nose rubs. If she stands in front of you and puts her front paws up on your shoulders, it's time for a cheek massage!If you're looking for an affectionate conversationalist, Henrietta is just the companion for you!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Henrietta was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Henrietta’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Henrietta’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Henrietta’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
