Hello there, I'm Indo! As the biggest and fluffiest of four siblings, I am the protector of the family. We lived outside with our mama for about 5-6 weeks when we were first born and it was up to me to keep everyone safe, so I am an EXPERT hunter! I will pounce on a spring toy from a mile away with exact precision. I even caught a fly once that got into our room, all by myself! I also really like string toys - and my siblings better steer clear because when I leap for it who knows where I'll land! I do love my brothers and sister though, and snuggling on the cat tree is one of our favorite pasttimes. My foster mom and dad are great to play with and they feed us yummy food, but I'm still wary of being pet or picked up. I think it'll take some more time to prove to me that they're trustworthy and not trying to take me to the scary vet every time they touch me. But my brothers and the other kitties in this house seem to really like the humans... so I'm starting to test the waters and let them get closer every day. I am looking for a forever home that will give me some patience while I learn to feel safe, comfy places to lay in the sun where I can clean my gorgeous coat, lots of treats, and another kitty to play with! I would get bored as an only kitty and might have to take my boredom out on the curtains. But I love all the other cats I've met so far, and my brothers and sister are also ready to find homes so maybe I could get adopted with one of them! Their names are Raptor, T-Rex, and Ptery. My mama Gabby is also ready for adoption, but she doesn't like to wrestle with me quite like my siblings. I'm not neutered yet, but I'll be ready pretty soon because I'm a good eater! I did get my vaccines and microchip, and my FeLV/FIV test was negative. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Indo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Indo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Indo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Indo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
