About this Dog
Penny’s looks are striking and if that weren’t enough, she has the most adorable head tilt. Some of Penny’s favorite things are being on the receiving end of lots of petting and affection, enjoying the great outdoors while running around in the backyard, going for walks, chewing on her chew bones, and playing with her toys (this girl REALLY loves to play). And, because of Penny’s love for the great outdoors (and because she’s in such great shape) we think she would make a terrific hiking partner. When it comes to training, Penny is the trifecta. She loves treats, she’s intelligent, and she’s eager to please which makes training easy and fun. Since coming to TFP, Penny and her foster mom have worked with a private trainer getting down the basics. Sometimes when Penny sees unfamiliar dogs or people, she may bark until she gets to know them. However, once she warms up, everyone is her friend especially when they shower her with lots of petting (as mentioned, one of Penny’s favorite things). Penny and her foster mom have been working one-on-one with a trainer teaching Penny to look to her foster mom for guidance in situations involving unfamiliar people and/or dogs. Both Penny and her foster mom have done great with this training. As we’ve said, Penny loves to play. There are times when Penny can become a little overzealous playing. Because of this it is probably best if she were in a home with older, dog savvy children and not children who may not be steady on their feet. Penny is crate trained and she has THE best crate manners. She’s polite and easy when asked to crate. Once crated, she’s quiet and quite content. Penny is known to voluntary go into her crate for some chill time and to relax when she wants a break from the hustle and bustle of family life/activity. Penny is completely housebroken. She will let you know when she needs to go outside to go “potty” by either following you around the house or waiting by the door. If you think Penny sounds like a match for your family, fill out an application to make her a member of yours!

Adopt Penny and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Penny's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Penny's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Penny, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Penny's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Penny was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Penny’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Penny’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Penny’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
